I’ve long resisted that discourse/way of thinking but I’ve also been able to teach some of the best students at my uni. Now tho we’re being pressured to “fill” our classes which apparently is common elsewhere & I’m worried how that might change things..but I’m trying to resist the pressure

I like the idea that “groceries” is a new word for him and that somehow it’s “old-fashioned” (prob showing he hasn’t personally had to think about groceries in about 70 years if ever)
