Everyone should read this book by @jimmasonauo.bsky.social - speciesism is the root of it all. When we chose to ‘other’ , when we chose to make groups ‘lesser than’ then we chose oppression and violence - not just for animals but for each other.

Part of being vegan for me is not just looking after the hens and dogs here. It’s about giving nature a place to thrive too. There are no weeds here, only beautiful wild flowers. There is life, vibrancy, insects, birds and mammals. Wildness is beautiful.
