@sanders.senate.gov: You're telling the American people that the American Medical Association–representing hundreds of thousands of people–have been co-opted and that they should not trust their doctors?

Everybody is corrupt, but you? Is that what we're looking at? I don't think so
Let’s be clear: Every year the retirement age is raised is a 7% benefit cut.

Instead of cutting our benefits, we can afford to INCREASE Social Security if millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share!

Republicans are ideologically committed to destroying health care at the behest of their billionaire donors.

It’s another great day to remind everybody that Social Security has a fraud rate of 0.00625%, which is far lower than private sector retirement programs.

The Trump Administration is abandoning plans for the biggest-ever cut to Social Security Disability Insurance, which would have hit older workers hardest.

The rule would have devastated up to 1.5 million workers' financial stability, retirement security & access to health care.

Social Security scraps plan to limit disability benefits after uproar
The policy would have fundamentally altered who qualifies for the two federal disability programs by eliminating or limiting a person’s age as a factor to consider.

🚨A BIG WIN FOR EVERY SOCIAL SECURITY RECIPIENT! The Trump Administration via Social Security was planning on enacting a rule to make it very difficult for people 50+ who are eligible for Social Security Disability Benefits to receive them. THEY JUST DROPPED THAT RULE!

Good news: "The Social Security Administration has abandoned plans to block thousands of older Americans from qualifying for disability benefits after an uproar that reached senior officials in the Trump White House."

We will stay vigilant to make sure this terrible plan stays dead.

Republicans have refused to cooperate with Democrats’ attempts to negotiate preventing a health care catastrophe.

As a result, premiums are spiking in every district in the country.

This isn’t a left or right issue― Access to health care affects us all.

A country that works for the people, not for the billionaires.
Alex Lawson: They've got a thousand billionaires. We've got 350 million Americans.

We will win as long as we remember what we're fighting for, which is a country that works for the people, not for the billionaires.

Please understand that if something like this doesn't pass soon, we will be facing yet another crisis. A huge wave of people is about to retire on 401(k) plans, which is an untested retirement vehicle for the volume of people retiring.
GOOD NEWS: @ramirez.house.gov will be working with @sanders.senate.gov to introduce the Pensions for All Act.

The bill requires corporations to provide traditional pension plans for their workers or pay into the federal retirement system to ensure all workers receive retirement benefits.
