The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

We have spent too many hours today protecting baby blackbirds, which hatched in our garden a couple of weeks ago, from a cat. 😭

Do you remember David Cameron, Theresa May, Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak?

They spent 14 years cutting benefits, do you remember how much better off everyone else was?

No, because it all goes to the very richest.

So my O2 bills are increasing by 22.5% next month due to their annual price rises, they are fairly new contracts. I think that's pretty grim. Not sure my clients would accept a hike like that with my fees. I'm slowly and surely getting priced out of this world.

Kicking myself for not finalising my Sainsbury's delivery earlier... only have until 11pm to amend order and the website is broken. 😬

A couple of days in Manchester at daughter's graduation, I do love it there. Such a colourful, vibrant, busy city.

Did come back with a shocking cold though (I'm sure that's not Manchester's fault though 😂)

I'm not loving the already dark afternoons/evenings... how much longer to go? I need to explore countries, I'd be allowed to move to, with lots of light.

The way billionaires abuse their wealth and power is a danger to our democracy. Their unscrupulous greed is also a pestilence to the world economy.
Governments must drastically curb their power, for self-protection and to protect ordinary people from their sick, filthy practices.
Billionaires’ Absurd and Growing Wealth Undercuts Democracy
The obscene wealth of the world's billionaires doesn't just mean they get to lead lives of luxury. It also means they have almost complete control of the economy — control that is fundamentally undemo...

Just realised a DD to Royal Sun Alliance, which I thought was for my life insurance, is not. I've no idea what it's for... cross with myself, as such a waste of money. Searching through emails I see More than Pet insurance is with them, but they said in 2021 I didn't have a policy... hmmm, perplexed

I had the pleasure of visiting Strasbourg twice in the last few months, visiting my daughter who was living there... what a lovely lovely city it is. I highly recommend a visit. So much going on, it's clean, transport is excellent (and cheap). Loved it!

I bought an ice cream maker a couple of weeks ago... so far we've had honeycomb and cookie dough. Today I'm making chocolate, but I've gone rogue on the recipe. Pray for today's ice cream... otherwise Sunday is ruined
