I watched the extended highlights for all these games and all I can say is that advanced analytics have a very long way to go to make this sport suck.

Starting to find the proliferation of G+ in every piece of analysis to be a little … frustrating? Annoying? Especially because it is meant, as the author says here, to measure “general impact” writers just toss it in an article and think it stands on its own.

Myrto Uzuni is still underperforming his xG on the season by three goals. 2022 MLS pundits tell me he’s due for three 0.1 xG golazos this season.
In all seriousness, it’s been very good to see his per 90 xG keep inching up as he gets more starts. He’s getting more, higher quality shots.
