For sure. The early pandemic years exposed the left to me as far from immune from misinformation. Both sides are willing to put their beliefs and desires above the facts.

Humanity is far more stupid than I grew up believing. I’ve basically lost faith in us as a species.

I struggle to imagine how anyone could see charisma in him. But then I struggle to understand how Trump has risen to prominence at all.

Humanity is far dumber and less discerning than I ever imagined. I have dramatically downgraded my perceptions of human intelligence over the past few years.

I don’t think there’s anything at all charismatic about Trump. Agree on the rest though.

Most videos I watch on YouTube are in the 15-30 minute range, on random topics in my feed. Compared to 40-120 minute episodes and movies on the others. But it still adds up to more time on YouTube regardless. There’s just more breadth and depth of content.
