Yall, please respect your library books. Don’t dog ear pages, toss them around, bend the spines harshly. Accidents happen but try your best to be gentle and leave the copy in good condition. Library funds are scarce. There isn’t always money to fix or buy another copy.

Also garden progress! 🌱🪴🫛Tomatoes are doing great, beans are growing well. Marigolds bloomed! My luffa plant is dealing with a flying ant problem but I’m doing my best to keep the plant going.

Library Haul from today. I loved Rachel Gillig’s Shepherd King duology so the new release was a given to grab. The midnight feast is the book club’s pick this month. 📚❤️

“Florida isn’t in a drought” then what’s this? And it’s only rained once this April and for a few minutes at that. This is supposed to be downpour season for us. No April showers to bring May flowers over here.

My picture is on the right. My hammock is atrocious but this was fun!

•Patrica Wants to Cuddle by Samantha Allen

Store bought “bee hotels” usually don’t attract solitary bees but I am hoping that this will encourage the wasps and other insects to make homes in this vs my windows and doors. Wasps are pollinators too and keep aphids down for veggie gardeners but I don’t like staring into their eyes 😂

What’s on my kindle TBR: Sapphic Edition 📚🌈

I typed in sapphic books and went digging down the search suggestions. These were four pitches I wanted to read more with. Have you ready any of them?
April 20, 2025 at 2:51 PM
I’ve finished TWO books after a long reading slump! Even though one was a complete flop, the sapphic novella was just what I needed.

Told myself I was gonna learn some basic sewing stuff this year and I did some of that today. My lanyard broke so I made a keychain out of some scrap fabric 🙌🏻

It’s Sjögren’s Disease Awareness Month! Hi, if you didn’t know, I have Sjögren’s (and osteoarthritis)! The Sjögren foundation has amazing resources to learn more and find ways to help people in your life who might also have this horrid disease. Autoimmune diseases suck but you are not alone in this ❤️

It’s April 8th so we all know what we should be doing, yes? Playing South of Midnight, correct.

Another day added to my reading slump. But my tomato plants are still alive so that’s something.

“A movie buff falls for an aspiring director, igniting a romance that fizzles out too soon; when their paths cross again, can love find its way back?” I’ve only watched one episode and I already know this is going to wreck me
