think this could be applied to any country under siege by populism with only minimal modifications though it does probably hit a little harder re: the US, being a 'proposition nation' and all

these risks meanwhile are essentially fake because both of them pivot on the assumption that Trump merely wants to *be President* for a third term instead of *winning a third election* - for these to pan out he'd have to be VP on a Vance-led ticket or not be on the ticket at all
