It’s going to sound so stupid, but I put in for a full week of vacation for the first time in four years because I’m at a healthy job now. I was so stinking anxious to send an email and my new boss just said, “Sure! ☺️” IS IT REALLY SUPPOSED TO BE THIS EASY?!

Friday was my last day at the hospital and I’m taking a two week staycation before I onboard for my new job.
We’ve been referring to it as a ‘detox’, but it truly feels more like a cleansing. Mentally, emotionally, and physically. The grass may not be greener, but the sky sure is a little bluer. 🌌💛
