Happy Wednesday, here's an anxiety spike.

There will be a restructuring at the company I work for, and the president of the company used the term "meaningful layoff" ... but we won't know who's going to be cut for about two weeks.

Does anyone who use reading glasses feel like you need to reset your eye muscles, after using them for a while?

Got a few snowflakes on my tongue, looking ridiculous of course.

Seriously enjoying this book. I think I'm almost 3/4 done, and I don't want it to end.

Made a cable sled, so I can drag it under the crawlspace to run some network there. Might need to add a flexible, like sheet metal or durable plastic.

Read about 90 pages in my book last night, while having a dinner at my local BWW (including a nice cheesecake as dessert). Suffice it to say that I'm hooked on it. The sci-fi nature of it, with interstellar travel and multiple non-human species, is very intriguing.

I just saw / overheard one driver apologized to another, presumably about being a little road-ragey earlier. Nice thing to see.

Cutting some hardened steel with a Dremel, and I liked the way the sparks flew out in slo-mo.
