Gameplay is its weakest part and I'm actually sad that that's what it's gotten mostly known for lol. The parries, dodges, and visual presentation of the combat. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it's nothing exceptional. Now the story, writing, and visuals? Those truly set the game apart.

Yeah, I get that. I started it on the hardest difficulty and throughout my playthrough dropped it all the way to Story lol. Which still felt pretty hard on some bosses.
I think that they've since made updates to the Story difficulty to make it ACTUALLY easy, which is nice.

The game as a whole is exceptional - its story, characters, and presentation. The gameplay is fun, but not the main highlight imo. E33's parries/dodges are all about rhytm, and they're very satisfying to pull off.
