Was looking at a press and just came across this book. Took a good minute for all the pieces to lock into place in my brain.

Cannot imagine a more destructive day before election surprise for Cuomo. Nothing New Yorkers love more than DT telling us what we have to do.

I personally enjoy the Election Day vibe, but no way to top this early voting sticker.

An argument I try to make on this episode of Pop & Play is that beating fascism requires joy and community. Doomerism and self-policing doesn’t build our coalition. Play, fun, and inviting people in does! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/p...

Students in my Tools and Toys for Knowledge Construction class did incredible work for their “paper mechatronics” projects. Using gears, servos, sensors, etc to build interactive art on their chosen theme of gardens. Visible on the 2nd floor of the @teacherscollege.bsky.social library-check it out!

Such an important point. In fact, the result that disciplinary action primarily impacted Black students, and those same students did not see the same increase as other on test scores, should be a flashing light for districts considering a no cell phone policy.
Good research with many implications.

A handful of judges get to sit around in robes and pretend words on a page confirm we live in a utopia, while here in reality everyone recognizes the blunt truth that overturning the voting rights act is explicitly about the GOP "eliminating" the power of the vote for people of color.

One weird side effect of researching maker education is that I now have over a decade of experience repairing 3D printers. And today I found I’ve still got it.

"The school shooting industry" is so fucking dystopian. My pal @sonalirajan.bsky.social is blunt about the snake oil/poison industry that is profiting on the deaths of our children. There is absolutely no evidence any security theater works.

This goober just hopped on the subway on his own and rode it all the way down to lower Manhattan for his first day of high school. I'm not crying. It's just been raining on my face.
