These are the dumb things that plague my mind and leave me wondering

What about a person in surgery, with their body being open, what is their fate? Like they get petrified and the doctor wakes up 1000 years later, does he still have a chance to save the person if everything goes right or is that just a dead person no matter what?

does the baby get turned to stone if at all? and with the depetrification, if the baby still has the umblical cord, does that mean it would depetrify with the mother or not. What about sky diving, if you petrify before the parachute is opened, are you just dead?

Like if it affects only humans, doe that mean that if that person has like a tapeworm, does the tapeworm get turned to stone, as well, or is it essentially forced to die because the body and everything in it is turned into stone? What about a person giving birth, like when
