a1: A lot of my work is one-and-done, at least initially, so the end is built into the beginning of the contract. Hopefully, we part on good terms, per agreement, and look for ways to work together in the future. They get the quarterly post cards to keep my name in front of them!

Once upon a time this was standard operating procedure for big and small alike - even to the point of ‘one copy in a hardened bunker many miles away, just in case’ (a regulated industry).

I read many books that I would’ve never chosen to read, to be sure they were ok for my young son reading at college level. There were a few I asked him to wait until he was at least a teen-ager & to discuss them with me or his Dad when he did read them. Children enhance our lives in unexpected ways!

Many times the opportunity to talk it out allows them to process enough to come to their own understanding of ways to improve the conundrum.
