Got loaned out to another team (ut oh). Had the spin up meeting today and 70% of it went over my head. I've never done this work before. I was really nervous. Told, "You'll be working with Danon". 👍

Do we have any polar bear experts around? Google searching is failing me. At what age do polar bears become like Gray wolf size, 200ish pounds? And are they "mature" (not depending on mother) at that age?

Is there a polite, respectful, supportive way to ask if someone is on the spectrum? I want to say "I see you and support you" help this person in any way I can but I don't know how to broach the subject.

Critical Role is such a slow burn. 2 ½ episodes and 12½ hours in and we're still on the middle of day 2 in the story. And not exactly a busy day and a half.

I'm just now realizing how I spent my Saturday. I got up and spent an hour fiddling with my character sheet, then left to play D&D for a few hours. Came home and put in a couple of hours in the woodshop. Finally, I spent the rest of the night a well into early morning back on the character sheet

The purpose of the months long government work stoppage had nothing to do with protecting the ACA. That was just the catalyst excuse. The purpose was to win the elections. They found their own wedge issue (that is actually an issue for a change) and used it.

In the woodshop. "Ok,on to the next step. But 1st let me spend 10 minutes on the router to think out this part a bit. That'll save me a good hour of sanding". Proceeds to absolutely boff it, taking out a giant chunk of material. Spends the next 4 hours fixing what I just damaged.

Got really high last night which knocks me out. decided to go to bed 3 hours before my bedtime. Didn't calculate that this means I'm gonna wake up at 4 in the morning and not be able to fall back asleep.

Which one of you recommend watching Critical Roll Campaign 4 to me? Each episode is FIVE HOURS LONG!!! I don't have that kind of attention span. Heck, I struggle with Dimension 20's 2 hour episodes. This is 150% longer.

this weekly med shot I take puts me in an awful gut funk for like a day and a half. But I also need to put another hole in my belt and probably cut 6" off the end, so I'll live with a gut funk for a couple days.

I hate using the router more than any other power tool in the shop. The table saw is the most scary, bodily injury wise. The router is the most "Will fuck up your project in the blink of an eye" scary.

I took the day off and have been going and going today. right now, at 6:00, is the 1st time I've sat down and turned on the TV. I'm so sore.
