I'll keep saying it until I'm blue in the face, no leftist of any stripe should ever surrender their right of defense. Fucking ever. Don't ever give the state or anyone else a monopoly on violence or it will be used against you and your interests.

I'll just leave this here for your review. Boots on the ground hold territory, little else can take that role. We're pretty much the walking example of why asymmetric warfare works and our recent international escapades should drive that home. Bigger armies don't always win, even with cool toys.

I'm gonna just bring back this gem to help you understand why cruise missiles and drones don't hold territory. Asymmetric warfare takes many forms and perhaps reading up on the French and Dutch resistance under Nazi occupation could be instructive here.

I'm gonna probably make some folk mad with this but this was Stjepan Filipović. He was a Yugoslav partisan who gave his life resisting the Nazi occupation. "Death to fascism, freedom to the people!" Were his final words, let us hope we can be even a fraction as bold as Stjepan Filipović.
