I can't remember the last time someone asked me if I wanted a lollipop at the doctor's office after a shot, or offered me pilot's wings on a plane trip... Nobody pats me on the head & tells me I'm a good girl... Well. To be fair, nobody ever DID. Probably would've pulled back a bloody stump. I'd probably be MUCH more amenable to that sort of thing NOW than I ever was as a kid. Different vibe, sure... but who said you can't go home again? Oh, Tommy.
