It doesn't help that nearly every Nurse/Doc I have tries to use a too-small cuff (known to inflate readings by many peer reviewed studies) and puts it on way too tight. I'm starting to advocate for myself now of "Let me put the damn cuff on or use my own machine."

So every year I go in and pass every other aspect of the physical above/beyond, and then sit there for over an hour trying to get my BP down enough to pass while I'm stressing out in the clinic because "without this I CANNOT WORK" is absolutely a great way to get my BP down.. /s

I'm sure I'm not the only one to think so, although I don't know if you get told this, but you deserve the kindness and are very worthy of being appreciated. <3
