We illustrate the principle with a multiple correspondence analysis of 15 sociometric nominations (interpersonal relations, interest / aversion to collaborations in mathematics and physical education), foci-of-activity, individual attributes, and attribute combinations in eight school classes.

Apart from the relative meanings of nominations, we analyze the meanings of one-sided nominations for friendship and sympathy. Our analysis points to one-sided nominations marking weaker ties than reciprocated ones, rather than asymmetric interest among class mates.

No matter what sport you do, how you do it, or why you do it – as long as you’re having fun and reaping the benefits, you’re winning: Increased #self-efficacy (e.g., Zhang et. al., 2024) and #mood (Martín-Rodríguez et. al., 2024), better #sleep and #health-related outcomes (Rosa et al., 2021).
