Hey everyone! This is my first post here!💙🦋
I'm a Spanish Zooarchaeologist and PhD Candidate based in the UK.
I love animals, especially reptiles and amphibians, and bones of all kinds!
My favourite periods are the Roman and Medieval and my favourite region to study is of course the Mediterranean!

I absolutely hate taking trains in the UK. 5 cancelled trains… Early entry tickets for an event wasted. And the won’t pay anything back cause they’re a greedy private company. So unacceptable.

New paper. Recording the female experience of UK archaeology 1990-2010. Anne Teather and I document how an industry EDI agenda evolved in the 1990s and was dismantled, uncovering the ramifications of that for women archaeologists over the next decade.

When the political climate forces you to start looking into postdoctoral positions well before submitting your thesis... Adding an extra stress factor to finishing a PhD, as if that wasn't enough.
