Happy #Halloween!

If we agree on nothing else, can we agree that #Navy head football coach Brian Newberry was created in a lab?

#Cthulhu is alive and well. Living and loving his best life at the New Orleans Lakefront.

Did anyone deliver quiet moral disgust better than #Redford? His only rivals? Jimmy Stewart, Sidney Poitier, Henry Fonda, Gregory Peck, and Spencer Tracy.

He was also a master at showing men who decide to fight for a lost cause.

If you can't tell, I am a little heartbroken today.

I always thought the wrong actor became president.

It was a life well lived.

Redford's vision of the arts and America will not only endure, it will prevail.

This man has found him. The biggest asshole of our time for all time.

It's National #Wonderful #Weirdo Day! A chance to hoist The Flag of Freak from atop the mast and pillage and plunder with #glitter and #confetti!

Fun Birthday Fact: It's Cardinal Richelieu's BD. Weird? Yes. Anyone portrayed by Charlton Heston and Tim Curry is weird. Wonderful? 3 Musketeers say no.

Fun Otis Redding birthday fact: he owned a 300-acre property and named it "Big O Ranch."

(He also knew how to dress)

Hope this helps restore your faith in righteousness. (Who are the current NFL team owners? - ESPN share.google/hHY9vg05MRvI...)

Started my day before the broadcast with the faintest hint of October Country in the air.

Have a righteous day!

If you're going to host a #trucking #radio show, can you think of a better shirt to wear while on the air?

My dad is 82. I am very fortunate he and my mom are alive and well.

Cherish 'em if you got 'em.

Gary Grant's plea for more time in Penny Serenade comes close to rivaling Jimmy Stewart's prayer from the bridge to live again in It's A Wonderful Life.

It just wrecks you.

4. Another friend would have drowned in her home, but a few years before, she had turned her home into a hospice for her terminally ill ex-husband. His convalescence bed, which was still there, served as a raft to save her and her new husband.

For all of you despairing right now. You can survive.

3. The sprawling home where I picked up my senior prom date? Gone. Grocery store where I got my first job? Gone. Pool where I spent my summers? Gone. And on and on...

My best friend's grandfather didn't evacuate. He drowned. Survived a Hungarian prisoner of war camp. And drowned in his home at 83.

2. I'm just getting started. The first snowball stand I remember, my favorite coffee shop where I write my first play, the single screen movie theatre where I saw the original release of Alien, The Shining, Close Encounters, Raiders, Twilight Zone: The Movie, Blade Runner, and Blue Velvet.
August 29, 2025 at 11:31 PM
1. 20 years ago today, I watched my playground, my little league field, my grammar school, my high school, my childhood homes, my mom and dad's home, my sister's home, my older brother's home, my great aunt's home, my late grandparents' homes, and 60 other relatives' homes drowned by a levee breach.

I just realized the country is being run by a stupid version of Noah Cross.

If you can't bring fascism to the country, you bring the country to fascism.

Best Sci-Fi movie in regards to #transportation and why? On Monday, 7am-11am CT, give us a call (615-292-6366), or write your answer here.

Especially when it relates to how people arrive, leave, and travel in general.

We'll tie it back into #trucking.

My dad. 82 years old. And finally retired. Just home from his last day on Louisiana Judiciary Commission.

Does a Liberal Lion, a happy warrior, finally rest?

I asked him what he was going to do now...?

"Live long enough to see these sons of bitches in The White House in jail."
August 23, 2025 at 12:28 AM
Anyone needs this nonsense explained, I can do it.

America has a series of folks who see themselves as the American culture Warrior version of Horatius at the Bridge.

The sad part? There was an argument to be made this was a cooked-up unnecessary rebranding.

But you can't own a lib that way.
