I just want something that will let me good up my iPod of my iPhone to play my own music, and occasionally use Maps.

That is. I don’t need Facebook in my car (seriously). Heck, I’d just like the Bluetooth in my 12yo Jetta to be consistent.

If we’re sharing: both copies in the first photo, close up of the tape in the second (complete with broken spine) - and yes, it smells exactly like an old book should, and my shelf (that’s an aged copy of Neverwhere over on the right).

I was really lucky - he’d rescheduled one of the 2020/2021 speaking engagements in my city, and I managed to get a (much better) ticket (than I remember purchasing).

Absolutely worth it, if you ever get the chance.

My copy is held together with copious amounts of scotch tape & hopeful thoughts.

I am grateful for the digital version I can reread without damaging. I am also grateful for the signed copy with the pretty new cover that’s sitting on the shelf with my much-loved copy.

I’d have never know about CPTSD if I hadn’t started looking into Autism (which also overlaps with ADHD). The moment I started reading up on it, it was massive RELIEF. Like, “oh … hey … this IS a thing”.

So many symptoms overlap with other diagnosis, too - sometimes, you need that self diagnosis to help point you in the right direction cus everything (and everyone) else has failed..

I watched this blow up on BookTok, and people had receipts. It’s … messy.

But I did add 4 new authors to my wishlist, to grab when they come out (I couldn’t find the 5th).

My KitchenAid stand mixer just aged off of my health insurance (it’s 26).

I need to schedule mine, now that they’re available … for days I know I will be home & can pass out.
