The first time I went to MK, I was quite creeped out by going through a string of roundabouts where two of the four exits were about 20m of road and then a pile of soil to block it. Just patiently waiting for its turn to get something built off it.

But have you considered that you didn't actually want to search for the term you typed into the search box?

I did my Gold DofE on Hoy, and because it was an exploration and we therefore had a base location, I treated myself to taking a book. Totally forgot about latitude and accidentally stayed up reading overlooking the sea until 1am. Glorious environment, less good as prep for a day of walking!

So,as a little thought-experiment, tell me something about the United Kingdom that works well and is actually quite impressive. I am not trying to sound like some boosterish politician. I just genuinely believe that making people believe that all is lost is a convenient pretext for shady characters.

Not Just Bikes has a good video on how autonomous vehicles will change cities, and one of his points that I don't see raised often is that 'safer than humans' is measured against road safety in the USA, which is significantly worse than Europe. So could be 'worse than humans' when ported over here.

Disappointing to see they're reducing the 453 frequency - it's often heaving once it's passed through Oxford Street and Whitehall so that'll only get worse, and this new route won't help at that part of the route.
