After a brief hiatus (I fear my hobby knife with every fibre of my being now) I am pleased to announce that I have fixed the arm issues I was suffering with my Knight, and it now has a weapon. Other arm needs to be printed, since I’m going to be using a posable hand.

I have made a discovery, while working on the Knight project- Legs are absolute bastards. Very finicky, with lots of bits that need to be exact, with no bending or breaking of the parts themselves.

I will need to fill in some gaps with greenstuff now.

I have spent the past few hours finally starting to build my Knight Styrix-Abominant conversion, so I’ve just been working on the base Styrix kit. Aside from an accidental sacrifice to Khorne when my hobby knife cut through something quicker than expected, it’s gone well. I am tired, pic may be bad.

Well.. Poor timing for a WH40K crusade to start, considering my family and I are about halfway across the country right now. Couldn’t even assemble my big knight in time, but that’s fine. I still got a TTS game in, quite enjoyable. In the meantime, greetings from Nova Scotia. Have a cool rock fault.

Well, random spur of inspiration, since I’m starting a Crusade. I’ve a pile of Chaos Knights that I need to start work on, so I’m also deciding to be a bit more active and post progress on the only social media platform I actually *use.* Might as well post it while I go. Plus I can talk to more folk

So! Forgot to post any model pics, but the tournament went quite well for my first time- 2-1 win ratio, and my team placed third. Not bad, all things considered, and I had a great time, especially due to my new Gorkanaut, Amlet.

So! Been a while since I posted, but here’s the rundown:
-I’ve got a tournament this Saturday, and have like half of my army painted
-It’s casual, but I want my army to look the best it possibly can
-So basically, this Friday I’ll have a massive painting rush. Full army pic? Maybe. Single models? Ye

Finally starting to clear up some of my Pile Of Shame, with my Megatrakk Scrapjet now assembled and based! In terms of a planned paint scheme, I intend to replicate that of the game Ace Combat Zero’s character, Pixy, with the Solo Red Wing being the standout design bit!

Learning how to base big units. This’ll be very important, given the fact that I’m building into chaos knights of all armies. War Dog Brigand that I bought used, gonna repaint it once the weather is good for priming.
