Heck, I’m a lot more liberal than I used to be on a variety of issues. Trump and Trumpism really opened my eyes on a variety of issues.
I feel as if I’ve become a better person because of it.

With that said, sure, I am more liberal than I used to be, but some of that also might be age. (Easier to be in favor of the death penalty, for example, when you’re young and brash and you think you’re immortal.)
The thing is, we can disagree about all kinds of policies, and still fundamentally agree on some basic principles of government. I think many of us have rediscovered that, which is one good thing that comes out of all this.
