I see Connor taking this. Assassin's Creed's own One Man Army. Yasuke might have the edge in mastery over swordsmanship, but Connor's been in the thick of it since he was 14. Not to mention his Master Assassin status at a fairly young age!

it can definitely work, but the problem is so many devs try to shove durability mechanics into games that are far better off without them

no, Amunet was active around the end of Ptolemaic period which predates Nero's reign by about 100 years
November 29, 2025 at 9:48 PM
this is the worst variation of an already obnoxious mechanic. bethesda's older fallout games did this and it SUCKS
November 29, 2025 at 9:04 PM
ive been blown away by it, definitely the biggest surprise this year for me

did religious interference cause pockets of that? yes, as it does today. but that isn't a universal truth as evidenced by the Islamic Golden Age, which brought a wealth of knowledge that humanity has still built upon to this day- and it began during the 8th century, during your so-called dark ages.

i never claimed the islamic faith is some shining beacon of prosperity.

my point is that claiming this period in human history is completely devoid of scientific advancement because of religious interference is just as one sided and false as claiming religion has been completely harmless.
