It's Fossil Friday so here's a Hell Pig. Display by paleo artist Ray Toll. This is from his Cruising the Fossil Coastline exhibit and was taken a few years ago when it visited the Newport, OR aquarium

Saw some 🍄🍄‍🟫 mushrooms at Tyron Creek State Park
Tiny yellow spikes growing from a rotten log I think these are called birds nest mushrooms. They are tiny little brown cups that have little white eggs at the bottom. I think the eggs are actually spores. The bird nests are nestled in green moss. Some kind of yellow/orange mushrooms. They look wet or covered in a clear mucus. Small red mushrooms with white spikes on another rotten stump covered in moss.

My dad collected this plate (part and counter-part) yesterday
