Your dog isn’t barking to annoy you. They’re not reacting to embarrass you. Their behavior meets a need.

Researchers at the University of Adelaide are seeking participants to complete a survey investigating sleep disturbances in older dogs. You can do the survey here: redcap.link/sleepdisturb...

University of Adelaide researchers are seeking participants to complete a survey focused on understanding the experience of caring for senior dogs that suffer sleep disturbances. Your participation is entirely voluntary. All responses will be kept anonymous and confidential. To be eligible, you must be over the age of 18 years; currently be the primary caregiver for a dog aged 8 years or older, and have lived with that dog for at least one year; have observed your dog waking at nighttime and/or are disturbed by your dog's nighttime activity. I felt I had to speak out about the Pet Shell.

During testing with loud (94 dB) white noise, the sound level was 81.0 dB inside the Pet Shell. Examples of noises in that range are a gas-powered lawnmower, a busy freeway at 50 feet, & an electric lawn edger.
