I travel boring: shirt, blazer & khakis. Tuesday I’m off to see my Mom in Calif. I’m always unfailingly polite to others, but I will be wearing sweat pants,a raggedy old tie-due tee shirt, & an open Huarachi sandals left over from an old Chambers Bros concert.

Typical Post coverage. Headline is: victory spurs Staten Island pols to renew bid.” It’s actually GOP pols. There are more Democrats than Republicans on Staten Island. Of course, all of those Democrats don’t support Mamdani, but these Republican pipsqueaks are hardly leading a prairie fire.

I’ve seen it and it is truly one of the most beautiful paintings I have ever seen. Value of course is something else, and a function of the art market in which aesthetics are only one of many variables

I want a serious epidemiologist and biostatistician to examine whether our criminal anti-VAX administration, and the resulting rising measles here in the US, fueled the increase in incidence and prevalence of measles in Canada and the increase there in anti-VAX sentiment.
