Nice cross bedding in the Chatsworth Grit at Windgather 😊 Not as imposing as the CG edges in the east but lovely all the same

Went to see Long Meg and her lovely Daughters yesterday. A beautiful standing stone and circle. Enjoyed the contrast between red sandstone mother and the volcanic children. The carvings were an unexpected bonus
