A guy (he/him), obsessed with the DS/3DS and handheld game systems of nearly every kind. Too Many Handhelds on YouTube.
Disgaea rules!

The guy demolished the East wing of the White House when he didn't need a distraction. But yeah, we'll see I guess.

I got this game on clearance as a teenager and had this exact issue when trying to find out how to get past areas. This was back in the late 90s, so search engines weren't as sophisticated. Eventually I just went to GameFAQs once that was a thing.

But yes, it's all native with no streaming.

It's pretty capable and can play games like the Shadows of the Damned HD remake, and emulate most PS2 at a 2x-4x. So I think with a better chip and more memory, the cube should be at least as good as the Switch 2.

This looks like a more powerful version but with Steam OS instead of Windows. And while you lose some compatibility without Windows, it's getting better, and you get better performance. There is a lot of potential here!

I have an 8BitDo controller paired with it, and all I have to do is turn it on and sit down with the controller. From there I can play Steam games, GOG games, launch Retrobat for retro gaming, or watch any streaming service I want or movies I already have with Kodi.

I have a mini PC connected to my livingroom TV and Steam auto launches with Kodi as a shortcut. So I can turn it on, play Steam games, or watch stuff with an 8BitDo controller. This is how I play a lot of PC games, and an official device like this could be a slam dunk.

these companies are related in the way that Retroid and Ayn are. The SD card on the Flip has an "Anbernic" folder lol.

If they are related, it would explain a lot, like how the G350 and RG35XXPRO use the same shell and are almost identical devices.

I haven't watched this yet, but I will as soon as I can. That longform documentary about AI graphics cards in China was fascinating. It also showed that China can have access to any card they want regardless of restrictions which is probably why the US government would be interested in knowing more.

It's so wild that all Square-Enix had to do is wrap it in a SNES emulator, and it would print money.

It's kind of wild to think that back in like 2019 many of these handhelds couldn't play PS1 or in some cases even special chip SNES at full speed. Now between devices like this and the upcoming Aya Neo Pocket Air Mini, you can get quite a powerhouse for under $100.

Be the change you want to see in the world. Or, in this case, collect the change.

I know people suck, but they actually paid to do that shit. On the plus side, someone else will probably take it for the free quarter. Has American society really sunk so low that the Aldi cart system no longer works? That's a weird metric to have this realization.

That's one of the best aspects of flash carts imo. Translations and hacks.

Yes. I don't have many games for it, but I did pick one up, mostly for February when RE9 comes out.

When I lived in Chicago Heights there was a place that was one of those building where no one stays in business and every 2-3 years it's a different restaurant. But eventually Sharks moved in there decades ago, and I think it's still there to this day.
