A guy (he/him), obsessed with the DS/3DS and handheld game systems of nearly every kind. Too Many Handhelds on YouTube.
I'm a little concerned about what ridiculous and erratic thing Trump will do tomorrow to distract people from the Epstein files. But we won't know until then, so there's no sense in worrying about it since there's nothing I can do anyway.

I really hope my AYN Thor ships soon, but in the meantime Retroid's clip-on screen is awesome even if it looks a little weird. Upscaled DS/3DS games look really good!

In my living room I have a Beelink mini PC. It boots Steam automatically, and Steam has a shortcut to the Kodi media player.

It rocks and gives me a lot of hope for the Steam-cube.

As a proof-of-concept I can tell you that this works very well.

BATLEXP made a "Flip" handheld and I bought it to see if it's a G350 in a clamshell. And it kind of is, but it's almost EXACTLY the same as Anbernic's RG 34XXSP. To the point where it's the same firmware with a BATLEXP logo in place of Anbernic's. I wonder if...

This is literal Third Reich shit, and the longer it's allowed to go on, the greater the likelihood that we will have to fix it the same way we fixed the Third Reich.

One of my favorite aspects of Powerwash Simulator is how it likes to drop you into a nice looking place that's well maintained, but somehow there's just one thing in it that has inexplicably been neglected for generations.

I left the house this morning and it's 32 degrees (F) and snowing. Yesterday afternoon it was in the mid-60s and felt like spring time. No wonder people get sick this time of year.

In Chrono Trigger I like to take advantage of the free healing at Chrono's house when you use the bed. It's kind of funny though, because you come home with Marle just after meeting her, Chrono's mom says she likes his new friend, and then they immediately run off to bed together. "Hi mom, bye mom!"

My first experience with SSX Tricky was on GBA as one of my first GBA games. I just got a GBA and didn't know what it could or couldn't do. The screenshots on the box looked amazing, but in reality it plays pretty sluggish especially compared to PS2. I still have a soft spot for SSX on GBA.
And don't forget to check out The Retro Blast Podcast: SSX Tricky episode while you're at it! We talked all about why this game is such a masterpiece that should be remembered.

Hey, happy 30th birthday GameFAQs! Launched on November 5th, 1995!

The earliest scrape I can find on Wayback is December 1996, but I doubt the site changed much. But yes, here it is in its earliest days as the Video Game FAQ Archive!

Nothing against the Switch 2, but the library needs to grow a bit more to make it worth it. Other than DK Bonanza, and Mario Kart World, every other game I'm interested in is already available on another system. I'm sure it will have some unique bangers by this time next year though.

This year has been incredible in terms of the games released. Some of my 2025 favorites were Yakuza: Pirates, Blue Prince, and Expedition 33.

We also got nice remasters of Lunar 1&2, Final Fantasy Tactics, and bunch of others. Oh, and the Switch 2.

basically every 2024 truism is dead. Trump did not build a lasting multiracial coalition or turn young men into committed Republicans. You don’t need to cave on trans rights to win. The pundits have nothing left to tell you.

I'm back on Lunar 2 tonight after putting it on hold. One of the dungeons is a slog with a boss that steals MP at the end. This isn't the first run I've put on hold because of it. At least with the remastered collection, battles can be sped up, and I just cleared that part, but it's grindy.

For the benefit of anyone who wasn't around the last time he did this, SouljaBoy charged premiums for handhelds that seemed to have been drop shipped from Ali Express.

Nintendo sued him for advertising that they came with Nintendo games, won, and redirected the url to Nintendo's own website.

I picked up one of these and I was worried that My Arcade would use a low quality screen, or that it wouldn't run at full speed. To my surprise it runs Sonic 1&2 well, except for the sound. There is about a half second delay which is pretty noticeable. It's a nice idea poorly executed unfortunately.
