yoshida feeling as if he is just fundamentally not “fun” (really, likeable and able to connect with his peers) and that coming as a result of hollowing himself out to fit the mold deemed for him by those with authority is just so much more meaningful when you read him as gay

A really valuable look into yoshida’s thought process here and one I’ve been imagining he has for a long time. The belief that he is inescapably of a world different from denji and asa and that appeasement to its demands is the only reasonable way he can stay alive.
