This is a game that will clearly have a lot of video essays made about its development and its identity as a project, but I think that they might be less interesting than you’d expect which is kind of sad.

I still haven’t finished it because I just feel huge disappointment now, but I continue to be enamored with volt forge.

Perspective has shown that it has a LOT of flaws that weren’t clear at the time, but it really feels like absolute peak Metroid Prime in some ways that I can’t shake either.

Initially read this as her /coming out/ only to realize that da bears are back baybeeeeee

The game seems to include less and less yonic imagery as its general quality dips. This must have been intentional.

Unfortunately this is absolutely in the genre of games that had a long and troubled development, a very good first chunk, and increasingly diminishing returns that make you feel like it somehow needed more time than it already had.

Like babe at least danganronpa had some real fucking sauce under all the nonsense

Once again beating a dead horse, but I will always continue to point out how much of Kodaka and Uchikoshi’s misogyny people are STILL willing to ignore (and seemingly don’t even notice somehow)

In the name of what? A game that desperately clings to a big number to justify its own existence? lol

People love to praise media just for attempting something without even considering if it did that thing well, or if that thing is something that’s actually worth doing.
