This is not at all to discount the violence carried out against communities, families, individuals. Sadly, acts of violence are tied to the optics and messaging of this administration. Without regularly verifying the validity of statements, claims, images the media makes their job easier. 🧵 2

It’s essential to recognize that much of what’s happening in the US relies on optics & messaging. It’s about manufacturing “truths”. We see this in press conferences, social media posts, what mainstream media is disseminating. Messaging & optics are not the truth, factual accounts, about the law🧵1
