Anecdotally, every “casual fan” I know is more like to watch something “for the sickos” as a one-off since it’s more wild and over the top
Alot of the older wwe/wcw/tna guys push for aew to "stop catering to the sickos and bring in new fans". In my opinion AEW has survived and thrived because they have a loyal fanbase they cater to. Push away the loyal fans and what do you have? Wcw 00 and tna post 2009. #Aew
