Australia is actually a low-taxing nation.

We pay much lower tax on our personal income than most all other nations.

Serious about tax? - look at tax concessions on superannuation, capital gains tax, how gas companies are taxed. TENS OF BILLIONS going to the richest and the most profitable.
If you pay personal income tax, you're paying too much. Our reliance on income taxes harms our economy, and neither Labor nor the Coalition are serious about doing anything about it, preferring shallow stunts like this. Time for an everything-on-the-table tax review. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-03...

The former RBA governor lifted rates too high and the current Governor is being too slow in cutting them.
