for some reason i find local LLMs kind of charming in a way the mass consumer stuff is not. you built a mini-cluster out of raspberry pis that takes 37 minutes to generate a 3 second clip of video that sucks? i don't see the point but that's classic computer dork shit, have fun pal

We should bring back the the linguistic pattern of using an alternate noun declension when naming a story after a person, like Odysseus->Odyssey or Aneas->Aneid

So like, oh, did you see the new Johnwickery? How about The Supermanid (2025)?

for the last few months I've been working on my own animation program. it pulls MIDI data from my DAW that i can hook into all sorts of parameters. it's nice when a program ONLY does the things I need it to. >: )

i'll be able make videos that'd otherwise have taken 1 or 2 weeks in a day or two.

i'm doing a virtual poster presentation at ADCx, where i show gemuPG. i had hoped to add some more features until then, but alas the summer and the sea got in the way... ;)

i compiled gemuPG with emscripten and it... just works on the web for the most part? ok well... i have to change file io and SDL timers. also i still gotta figure out some undefined behaviour that seemed to work with msvc gcc and clang but not with webassembly. no clue how to debug webasm tho...

i made a small ambisonics sound sandbox a couple of weeks ago where you can shoot sound particles around.

i made this in godot, which sends OSC messages to supercollider, which sends third order ambisonics to reaper using rearoute. i decoded it binaurally for the video :)

There's 3 big game stores in the western world.

Two are run by billionaires, take huge cuts & heavily limit which games can be published.

One is run by a tiny team, is free to use, open to all and is currently hosting a huge queer games bundle.

Guess which is being attacked for being "anti-LGBT".
