All stupidly speculative but his agent may have been agitating for a move, threatening to leak the value of the clause, speaking in a way that suggested they weren’t going to respect the nda

I think the release clause is there as the price they have to sell at but they want to keep it secret in the hope that someone will bid s much more. US bidding precisely the right amount makes Forest think that the secrecy clause has been broken and in consequence the whole clause is invalidated.

No, they got £5m for winning the final. They made around £35m from the tournament Asa while. That’s aside from the approximately £100m minimum they’ll make from CL participation.

I don’t think that’s it. The difficulty is that the success Ange achieved is all but impossible to replicate but the failings seem all too likely to reoccur. We’re not going to win a trophy to qualify for the CL but we may well throw away a lot of games. Levy doesn’t see bet as a good one.

I think the thing for me is that no one’s going to do better than this. Poch was an extravagantly lucky find. No one else has done anywhere near as well with so little money in the last 20 years. Ange is fun and he won something that’s where we’re at and it’s not bad.

We were going to see the Donnarumma but the queues were too big and I’m told it’s actually much smaller in real life.
