I think it felt smaller/ less impactful than it should have given its size because a generation of people who like to post pictures online were told posting pictures from it was wrong and dangerous

Online security theater posting made me really afraid about having my phone or showing my face before going to a no kings protest and then when I got there it was a great time and my mom was taking pictures of everything lol. I felt ridiculous because I almost didn’t go people made it sound so risky

When you say "listen to people's lived experiences!" I completely agree. And I'll even one-up you: we should undertake to collect a wide, representative sample of lived experiences, carefully controlling for potential sources of bias, and report those experiences robustly, with charts.
