Lost in the noise yesterday was the release on Consumer Credit for February month end - which unexpectedly shrunk. Last time we shrunk on credit on an annual basis? 2020.

Wondering if any other bsky econ accounts know how strong of an indicator this is...

Looks like JPM is estimating it as 1.3%. But if you add in the CPI and other knock on effects could well be 5x, yeah.
