Hrm, the Dr Hurd Manzanita in my yard that was starting to look a little less green and more sad than its siblings two weeks ago is taking a turn for the worse. Scratching my head on what is different about this one, besides the rock mulch.

the 3.5 y.o. on her iPad, frustrated, says, "I can't find the game where I jump over the cactus!!". There are no games on the iPad. It dawns on us she discovered the 'no internet' dinosaur game in chrome by herself and taught herself to play it. Mind blown.

My daughter's favorite color is purple, so you know what that means - an atomic purple shell mod for her. And some colored buttons because she is quicker with colors than letters at this point.

I'm curious now just how many references I missed not having ever actually sat down and watched Who Mourns for Adonais? I really should suck it up and do a full watch of TOS. I only have intentionally watched bits and pieces and whatever I caught on TV in the 90s. I'm not sure i have it in me.

Whelp, turns out the tree that I thought was the lime for the last 6 months turned out to be the lemon because it just exploded in yellow. The fun of first year citrus trees. Explains why the limes didn't taste the best. 🌱
