I did grocery duty today. Definitely busier than usual but not horrid. Wife and I are flipping coins as to who drives on Tuesday to retrieve our last college student.

I'm in my mid '70's. My principal and interest is now way less than 1/2 monthly payments. Property taxes and insurance have sky rocketed. Prop taxes are a crime based on unrealized gains.

I get the biggest chuckle out of watching a bee coating themselves with pollen to the point they have a hard time flying.

Wife and I were just watching our wrens a few seconds ago. Funny little guys bobbing up and down like they do. There is no way that bird should be so loud.

Racism is alive and well EVERYWHERE. But, I'm happy to see there were severe consequences. Wonder if there would have been such reactions had the man not been the Police Chief.

Yes, all fine and well. Big issue is what they do when a noose is found hanging over a non-white persons bunk. I doubt they do anything.

19 years is a long time. On the other hand, in 19 years god only know what it will take to have a comfortable retirement. I use an online product called Maxifiplanner (maybe $100/year). It really helps retirement budgeting.

I had shingles and didn't get the vaccine. Sister had the vaccine and was pretty sick from it. We kinda laugh about who had it worse.

Qualified immunity or not. Supremacy clause or not. Arrest the a$$hole. Throw him in jail. Put him on trial. At least his life will be miserable for a while. Maybe he'll loose his job. Or house. Or wife and kids. And it may help with subsequent civil trials.
