It sucks because early on, the place seemed like it was becoming "the place where art directors/companies actually scout for artists" but so quickly it's just devolved into the scam capital of the art world.

It's sad, but yeah the only thing I've ever gotten is dozens of scam emails saying "I saw your work on Artstation and loved it, are you interested in doing illustrations for my friend's wedding?"

You may notice the needle as the most common thread connecting most of these designs. I find it scarier than the chompy mouth since needles are a universally relatable experience, while the chompy mouth is not.
