At scale, it's still gonna be scanning the qr codes from a picture/video. It's roughly the same as using text recognition software and copy-pasting that.

I think they genuinely don't understand how bad it is. They think "polls last decade said people want immigration enforcement, so ICE has to be fundamentally good, but people keep disliking ICE, so it must be a marginal effect, and we can use this to say that we'll manage the secret police better"

A yet unknown respiratory illness has taken me out for 5 days and my partner for 6. I've felt like sneezing constantly for days. I've sneezed only a couple times, but the feeling that I'm about to sneeze is stuck to my nose and eyes. This is a purgatory of a pro-vaccine god - I repent, holy woke

Meanwhile, material analysis: "Citizens pay for colonial projects, while only capitalists claim the profits - which explains why so many colonial projects lasted so long even though the costs outweighed the profits."

Even Bernie has popularized the saying "Socialized loses and privatized gains"

Realistically, we're already about on par with OPEC production - meaning that if our companies lower prices significantly, they'll be doing it for nothing. We lower prices when we have to compete - we don't have to right now, so at best prices will go down maybe 10 cents/gallon.

I agree with you. I advise you drop the "I couldn't care less" part in future rhetoric. It's a common malapropism. And it's an obscure reference. The picture of his face drooping is more than enough for anyone that cares to believe their own eyes.

And would you say that the amount referred to will accomplish that?

I feel like 300% more sane now
My thoughts have just recovered the core of their contextualization

every leftist is crashing because of how over it is

and we'll still have to put up with all the conspiracy theorists pretending it's a massive plot - even though this is self evidently not good news

Your mocking doesn't serve the conversation

It comes across as pedantically counting minutes
What really matters is the functional time imprisoned
June 11, 2024 at 3:55 PM
That was my first thought (because defense has to be there whenever prosecution is, right?), but it being witness counsel and not prosecution was enough for me to think there might be a nuance I didn't know about

News:
Three guys typed "supermodel redhead big giant bazongas bigger" into their computer and are competing to see which makes their pricks harder

Denis Parker's submission titled "closest approximation to the high schooler I stalked when I was 33" is currently leading with 2,3/4 inches

Turning your 1 year jail sentence to 60 years by writing on a piece of paper that you're only imprisoned when the second hand is on 12

This is fine as per your comparison that the judicial system should be as nuanced as a fictional job that hires 2 minutes at a time
June 11, 2024 at 2:03 AM
Artificially doubling a sentence by only "officially" imprisoning someone on even numbered seconds
They can't functionally leave every other second, but (on paper) they're free half the time
June 11, 2024 at 1:53 AM
The only way this makes sense to me is if the judge is considering this a snitch

Basically wants to cut out the "snitch" - I'm guessing, but I'm not a lawyer and I don't know how ex parte with the state's witness' counsel is supposed to work

I could've clarified my position, but I got blocked
I'm satisfied with this outcome - just thought it was relevant to mention
May 26, 2024 at 3:55 AM
I was about to go to bat for you
Thank you for saving me from that mistake
May 26, 2024 at 3:49 AM
Yes, I've not disagreed
I think you've missed my main point

Here is another list I've come up with off the top of my head
It contains one example that requires a position of power - I hope you will not try to use that alone as a slam dunk

Excellent question. Unfortunately, there is no simple answer - we have to use a holistic approach of preempting the court

For example, if the issue is that the court might declare a winner in an election that requires a more careful count - using some pretext such as the media having declared it -

Maybe this is the miscommunication here

Saying "electing democrats isn't the only way" doesn't mean "don't elect democrats". It means "there are things we could be doing in between elections"

You need to elect people to hold hearings, but electing isn't enough if they don't hold the hearings

catch them in a completely unjustifiable position

If they rule a draconian authoritarian ruling, then you have to challenge them to enforce it to full effect by obeying the law in creative ways
