I would hope so too. I confess I was thinking about what people of good conscience would do. I was thinking about the way the corporate media would cover the issue. Methinks it would be very different.

To turn this on its head: what would be the response if the board cancelled an Israeli writer because the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people would mean that their appearance would not be 'culturally sensitive'?

FR has been a disgrace. Wall to wall coverage of any opinion critical of the government or Albo. JP in a recent interview expressed his admiration/support of Netanyahu and Trump. Bewildering that he us in favour of a RC.
