It's such a relief to see ppl say this! I don't want generative AI in my life in any way, shape or form!
As a creative it doesn't solve my problems, it just creates them.
As a consumer it makes me feel uneasy, creeped out & hollow.
If I see it, I block it, so hopefully the algorithm will learn.

We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA.

Wait till they hear how every famous painter always had models posing or just straight up painted on site. Mucha was super into photos and would put grids on prints to copy them. Rembrandt used camera obscura.

I was inspired by @slightscribbles.bsky.social's WIP and had to make a Goostarion villager. I did my best to mimic the game's art style—with the exception of the hair, because it just looked wrong without it—and no lineart was definitely outside my wheelhouse.
