ICE's actions are a heinous abuse of power. We stand with David Huerta, with our siblings in the labor movement, and with every Californian abducted by ICE!
Let’s be clear: ICE injured and detained the president of SEIU California for peacefully observing.

This is why we must fight for everyone. Whether they’ve been incarcerated or have had contact with the criminal legal system or are merely undocumented. When you accept that some people are deserving of detention and deportation the scope of who is eligible is always under threat of expanding.

UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.
