Saying “yes ma’am/sir” often. When I was in college I used to be flabbergasted when an adult would tell me I didn’t have to call them ma’am or sir, cuz the way I would get checked by my family real quick it I didn’t 😂

I think you can develop leadership traits by stepping out of your comfort zone and taking on leadership roles you wouldn’t normally. Doing so throughout my life made me a lot more confident in my abilities to lead, even though I I know I have a ways to go

I feel safe when people are straight up with me about what they need or how they’re feeling. I don’t know how to move around people who aren’t honest about how they feel, and that makes me feel unsafe.
