This post is correct, the people claiming you can do so are mostly full of shit. I spent a year after I graduated trying to get an “entry level” Cybersecurity job. I have a BS and MS in Cybersecurity, and Sec+, and did CTFs, but no job XP or security clearance.

I gave up and now work in IT support.
